Manuel García de Santiago
St. Gregory the Great

Second half of the 18th century
Seville Cathedral

The dove at St. Gregory's ear is his most common attribute, alluding to the inspiration of his writings, which are also referenced by the book in his left hand. His vestments and triple tiara are the usual signifiers of a pope.
